Report a problem
How to report something wrong on POP, how you are protected, and what happens next.
Last updated 29 Aug 2026
Who this is for
Anyone who works with POP, such as coordinators, admins, agents and builders, and anyone who has bought, sold or rented a property through it.
You do not have to be connected to POP to report something. We look into it the same way either way.
What to report
A property marked verified that was never visited. Documents approved without being opened. A fee asked for that was not on the listing. A bribe offered or taken.
A tenant or buyer turned away because of their caste, religion or marital status.
Personal information about users being misused or passed on.
How to report it
Write to us through the contact page with “Whistleblower” in the subject. Include the property reference number if there is one. It lets us find the records straight away.
You may report without giving your name. If you do, we cannot come back to you with questions, so include as much detail as you can.
What protects you
POP will not act against anyone who reports something in good faith, even if the report turns out to be mistaken. Somebody staying quiet because they were not certain is a worse outcome for us than somebody being wrong.
Your identity is known only to the people looking into it. It is not shared with the person the report is about.
The one exception is a report somebody knows to be false when they make it.
What happens next
We acknowledge a report within 7 days. Nobody takes part in reviewing a report that is about them.
If the report concerns a property's verification, that listing comes off the site while we look at it. Leaving it up would keep making the claim we are checking.
We tell you what came of it, unless you reported anonymously and we have no way to reach you.
